Lions-Vikings halftime performer is platinum-selling music artist and MSU alum

DETROIT – The halftime performer has been announced for one of the biggest football games ever at Ford Field.

Returning home to perform at halftime will be Quinn XCII. Born in Detroit, the platinum-selling artist and Michigan State University alum has released six studio albums since 2017.

The pop/reggae singer is known for songs like “Straightjacket,” “Always Been You,” “Stacy” and “Stay Next to Me.”

The winner of the game, which will be televised nationally on “Sunday Night Football on NBC,” takes the NFC North, gets the coveted No. 1 seed, first round playoff bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The loser will be the No. 5 seed and play somewhere on the road in round one of the playoffs and beyond.

Both the Lions and the Vikings are 14-2 on the season. Detroit beat San Francisco this past Monday Night while the Vikings defeated the Packers on Sunday.
