Local artists find creativity, collaboration a group project

The smell of eggs and fresh cooked bacon waft through the air. Plates and silverware chatter, as pots and pans bang from a bustling kitchen. The low din of conversation hums throughout the crowded breakfast spot. T’s restaurant, a popular place for lunch and breakfast in Wakefield, is also the meeting spot for a surprising group of artists. In a select back room these artists meet monthly from 7:30-10 a.m., to put their latest pieces on an easel, critique each other’s art, and most importantly, eat breakfast. How did this common restaurant become home to an artist’s salon? Christine Webb, one of the artists of the group, believes mostly, by chance.
