Man arrested after posting threats on social media against his former employer

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) — An Albia man was arrested following an investigation of threats posted online against a business in Dubuque.

31-year-old, Scott Questad is accused of posting threats on a Facebook group page early Monday morning against his former employer, Hirschbach Moto Lines.

According to court documents, the investigation started with a harassment report called in to police. A safety manager at the business wanted officers to be present while the nightshift employees walked out to their vehicles. The manager informed police of threats mentioning death in two posts attributed to Questad.

Court documents also show the manager told police Questad was terminated from the company on January 11.

Officers found Questad in his Hirschbach work truck later Monday morning at a Hirschbach facility in East Dubuque. He was also arrested on an unrelated warrant.
