New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts closes and donates assets to Positive Street Art in Nashua

Earlier this spring, the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts announced that its executive director, Tricia Soule, would be stepping down for a new opportunity in Taos, New Mexico. Following this announcement, the NHBCA board of directors unanimously voted to sunset the organization, citing the completion of its 41-year mission to build strong ties between the business and arts communities.

As part of the dissolution process, the NH Charitable Trust Division requires the organization to choose another nonprofit to receive its remaining assets. After thoughtful discussion, the Board voted to donate the NHBCA’s remaining financial and physical assets to Positive Street Art (PSA), a dynamic nonprofit based in Nashua. Founded in 2012, PSA’s mission is to inspire passion for urban arts while uplifting underrepresented voices. Through public art, education and community engagement, they have been transforming spaces and lives across New Hampshire.
