SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) — NewJeans’ music video for ‘ETA’ won four awards at the prestigious One Show 2024 advertising festival held in New York, their agency ADOR announced on the 22nd.
According to ADOR, the ‘ETA’ music video received the Bronze Pencil in the Branded Entertainment Music Video category. Additionally, it won Merit awards in three other categories: Branded Entertainment Long Form Video/Series/Episode, Music & Sound Craft Artist/Brand Collaboration, and Film & Video Innovation/Use of Media in Film.
‘ETA’ is one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans’ second mini-album ‘Get Up’. The music video was a collaborative project with global brand Apple and creative studio Dolphin Kidnapping, directed by Shin Woo-seok, and was notably shot and produced using an iPhone.
The music video also previously received a Bronze award at the Spikes Asia, an Asia-Pacific regional advertising festival, in March.
In addition, NewJeans’ collaboration with Coca-Cola’s Coke Studio for the theme song ‘Be Who You Are (Real Magic)’ won a Silver award in the Music & Sound Craft Original Music/Song category and a Bronze award in the Artist/Brand Collaboration category. Coca-Cola’s Zero campaign also received a Merit award in the Music & Sound Craft Artist/Brand Collaboration category.
The One Show, which began in 1973, is considered one of the most prestigious advertising festivals in the world, alongside the Cannes Lions and Clio Awards. This year, approximately 20,000 entries from 69 countries were submitted.
