
Cathay Pacific has reopened The Bridge, its lounge at Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1, situated near Departure Gate 35. Key features such as cherry wood, framed screens, black granite and travertine, selected plants, furniture and artwork are all from the airline’s ‘Gallery in the Skies’ concept. The Bridge is Cathay Pacific’s first to adopt a biometric check-in system. Chinese cuisine will be offered on its left-hand side, while international food is offered on its right. The left-hand side also introduces The Nook, which extends the culinary offers of Cathay’s iconic Noodle Bar.

LNER has unveiled a Customer Solutions Centre in Newcastle city centre. The new offices, which has capacity for 130 staff members, are now based at 1 St James’ Gate. This follows a move from offices in Gosforth.
