The funding round was led by existing investors JIIF, with participation from prominent angel investors.
O hi has demonstrated rapid growth, boasting a user base exceeding one million this quarter. Encouraged by its success, the Welsh Government has invited O hi to launch in the UK, slated for July 2024, providing substantial support to facilitate market penetration.
The app creates digital chatrooms in third spaces, fostering real-world communities. With this funding, O hi plans to enhance its product and introduce an AI-based profiling system aimed at revolutionizing content virality. The team aims for aggressive growth, having doubled its user base in just 45 days, previously achieved over 24 months.
Central to O hi’s strategy is the introduction of the Real Life Fame tick feature, generating significant anticipation with a waiting list exceeding 200,000 eager users. This feature aims to redefine social media engagement beyond traditional metrics, promising new value propositions for users and businesses alike.
