Clark has been an analyst for ESPN since 2015.

He would reveal last week on X, formerly known as Twitter, that his contract didn’t renew.

The 44-year-old Clark posted a hype video during the announcement.

And on Thursday, he would post a cryptic post on social media which appears to hint at a permanent ESPN exit.

Clark wrote, “Some responsibilities are created by your success. Count those as a privilege not a burden. Your perspective can change your approach.”

Fans responded to the mysterious post and shared their support for the retired NFL star.

One commented, “Can’t wait to see where you land. Wherever it is, I’ll be watching.”

Another wrote, “Where ever you land, you’re gonna be awesome and we fans will be right there supporting you.”

And a third stated, “Preach.”

ESPN and Clark reportedly had disagreements on his contract value.

He signed with the network in 2015 and made appearances on ESPN’s NFL Live, SportsCenter, Get Up! and First Take.

Clark still has plenty of work on the side as the retired NFL champion currently hosts Inside the NFL and his Pivot podcast.

His broadcasting career follows 13 seasons as a safety in the NFL.

The LSU product Clark entered in the league in 2002 and played for the New York GiantsWashington Commanders, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He’d win Super Bowl XLIII with the Steelers in 2009.
