Shake off the winter blues and dive headfirst into creativity at the Spring Fling Art Market, returning to Church Street Brewing Company in Itasca from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 29.
Presented by Alissa Harris of the Streetz Artz Alliance, this vibrant event is more than just a craft show — it’s a lively fusion of handcrafted artistry, local flavor, and good old-fashioned community vibes.
“This market always has a cool, open, and fun atmosphere,” said Jennifer Coleman, co-owner of Gigawatt Coffee. “It’s cozy, and it just feels like home. The brewery itself is family-owned, which I think translates into the whole experience. Plus, they have food!”
With 28 talented artists showcasing everything from handmade jewelry and vintage-inspired apparel to original artwork, comics, and even beer-themed candles, there’s something for everyone. Vendors like Belonio Doodles, Skulls & Sketches, Flowering Fields Designs, and Dust Bunny Mafia will even take custom commissions, ensuring one-of-a-kind finds that you won’t see anywhere else.
Church Street Brewing Company offers the perfect setting to sip and shop. Beverages include a selection of craft beers, mixed drinks, and nonalcoholic options. The food menu offers pizzas, handhelds, pretzels, and more.
“We love these markets,” said Amanda Steinbraker, an employee at Church Street Brewing Company. “Our whole staff participates — buying from multiple vendors and supporting the arts. Lisa (the owner) is a huge supporter of the arts, and we contribute to multiple charities throughout the year. Plus, we’ve expanded our nonalcoholic beverage options to make sure everyone feels welcome.”
While the brewery’s patio will be open for those wanting to bask in some early spring sunshine, all artists will be set up indoors, ensuring a rain-or-shine event where patrons can comfortably browse and shop. Parking is plentiful, with easy access via the side entrance of the building. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
Church Street Brewing Company is at 1480 Industrial Drive, Unit C, Itasca. For details, see the market’s Facebook page.
