Skechers teams up with Belgian artist Vexx

The collaboration follows others with artists such as James Goldcrown, Jen Stark and Ricardo Cavolo, and showcases Vexx’s signature doodle style.

The collection, available in store and from skechers.co.uk, includes trainer styles the Color Doodle Uno sneaker, available in both men’s and women’s sizes and retailing at £90, the Koopa Court Volley Vexx Doodle for £80, and a unisex version of the Koopa Court Volley Vexx Gasp at £80. Hoodies, T-shirts and a baseball hat are also available. 

Meanwhile, on 2 February  the brand revealed a record $8bn (£6.3bn) in sales in its full year results, for the 12 months to 31 December 2023.

Sales climbed 7.5% year on year, reflecting a 13.3% increase in international sales which offset a 0.8% decline in its US home market.

Meanwhile, gross profit for the full year grew by 18.1% year on year to $4.15bn (£3.27bn). Earnings from operations were $784.8m (£621.6m) allowing for a 9.8% operating margin.

Chief executive Robert Greenberg said the growth was a result of “broad acceptance” for its products worldwide and a loyal, growing customer base. He added: “Given our momentum, we are confident that 2024 will be another successful year for the company.”
