TWO people were killed on a railway track in India while making short videos for social media, Makkal Osai reported.
Anuj Kumar, 20, and Ranjit Kumar, 16, were apparently shooting near a train station in Etawah city, Uttar Pradesh.
They noticed an oncoming train in the distance, but rather than getting off the tracks immediately, they stayed on to capture footage of the train, thinking they would have time to move out of the way.
However, the train turned out to be an express train, which travels faster than regular trains. Both of them were struck.
Eyewitnesses described in gory detail that their bodies disintegrated from the impact.
Body parts were reportedly “scattered across a distance”.
The victims were identified by their families from their personal belongings such as the slippers that they had worn.
