Soundscape, the premier musical metaverse experience for VR and PC, released a full concert film of its experiential collaboration with EDM artist deadmau5. Now available for streaming on YouTube, the film makes the full one-hour recording of the psychedelic virtual performance accessible to all viewers.
Launched as a hyper-immersive audiovisual experience for both PC and VR on Soundscape in May, the exclusive Soundscape Presents: deadmau5 concert offers a new frontier in immersive music and visual arts, powered by Unreal Engine 5 and proprietary technology like Soundscape’s Sonic AI transmutation system.
The full-length film delivers the same cutting-edge visuals and iconic deadmau5 sound available on Soundscape‘s VR and PC platform to a global audience of fans and viewers.
“We’re excited to bring this concert to YouTube, making the experience accessible to even more fans,” Soundscape Creator Eric Alexander said.
“This release allows anyone with an internet connection to enjoy the groundbreaking combination of music and technology, and we’re looking forward to delivering even more immersive experiences with major artists next year.”
Soundscape will be releasing a collaboration with Chris Lake and Fisher in 2025, with other major artists to follow. Nominated for five international XR Awards, Soundscape continues to raise the bar for immersive concert experiences.
The deadmau5 real-time musical metaverse performance showcases state-of-the-art graphics, powerful audio reactivity, immersive performance controls, and an unparalleled avatar system. The film release preserves these elements, offering a glimpse into the hyper-immersive worlds the Soundscape Metaverse continues to develop.
“Soundscape has always been a work of art in our eyes, and with this release, we’re taking that vision to new heights by blending film and immersive art,” Alexander added.
“Since our inception in 2017, our mission has been clear: to create and deliver transformative experiences for fans and artists alike. This concert film represents a new frontier in how artists and fans engage, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in both the virtual and physical worlds.”
