Suzy was selected as a special collaboration music artist for the Disney fantasy musical “Snow White,” which drew explosive attention with the release of the red cape’s “Guess Who.”
On the 10th, Walt Disney Company Korea released a teaser video of Suzy’s special music video with the news.
Suzy’s first fantasy musical film “Snow White” this year was selected as a special collaboration music artist for the main OST “Waiting On A Wish.” The song contains the desperate wish of Snow White to choose her own path and move forward nicely and wisely against the evil Queen (Gal Gadot), who dominated the kingdom with a desire for power.
In the teaser video released, Suzy, who appeared in a red cape in the background of a blizzard, soon sings the earnest wish of “Snow White,” which contains a good heart against the backdrop of a magical forest, raising expectations for the full version of the sound source and music video.
“Waiting On A Wish,” reinterpreted by Suzy, who is expanding her spectrum with deeper acting skills and sensitivity, with clear and warm vocals, will give special impression and anticipation to audiences waiting for a new story of Disney’s first Princess.
In the meantime, Disney’s “Frozen 2” OST “Into the Unknown,” Daniel’s “Part of Your World,” Ahn Yu-jin’s “Wish” OST “This Wish,” and Nayeon’s “Moana 2” OST “Beyond,” Suzy’s “Waiting On A Wish” will deliver a message of hope and courage to everyone who wants to pioneer their own destiny and move on a new path, rather than being led by others.
Suzy’s full version of “Waiting On A Wish” music and music video will be released soon.
“Snow White” was joined by the producers of Disney’s musical films, which were greatly loved by domestic audiences such as “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin.” “Snow White” will continue the Disney musical film’s box office syndrome with fantasy melodies from music directors Benji Pasek and Justin Paul of “Aladdin” and “The Great Showman.”
