Talenver: A social platform that bridges the gap between job boards and dating

Today, many people utilize social media, job boards, and dating platforms daily, and Talenver is here to merge these concepts into one. Talenver is a social networking site that combines two unique digital concepts: dating and job hunting. 

Julia Lurie conceived the idea, leveraging her background in the arts, entertainment, and hospitality to bring Talenver to life and change how people connect with like-minded individuals. 

Features of Talenver

Talenver offers numerous features that prevent scammers and catfishers from accessing the platform. The unique features are built into the concept, allowing professionals to log in and find work or connect with someone from the same field. They can be a romantic partner or a friend in a similar field of work. 

The security features include a thorough verification process to eliminate phishing and ensure all members create honest and up-to-date profiles. A discussion board enables users to interact with one another and share their experiences, whether it involves an employer, information about working with a colleague, or discussing relevant current events. Subscribers receive a resume concierge service, which includes resume review and job coaching, to connect them with potential employers. 

Talenver also offers membership for employers. These members are offered a range of services predominantly focused on connecting with individuals whose profiles best fit the work they are offering. 

Julia Lurie’s inspiration behind the platform

After moving to LA to break into the modeling and art industries, Talenver CEO Julia Lurie quickly became disillusioned with the job search and hiring process. Julia encountered significant roadblocks, many instances of scamming, and few resources to navigate the hiring landmines. The process was antiquated and discriminatory to her, and knowing that a viable alternative was warranted, she was inspired to create the social platform.

Julia’s idea began as a social platform for networking, and she developed this concept into what it is today: a space where people can connect with others in a safe environment, find community, and access resources to support a wide range of professions. 

The Talenver difference

What makes Talenver stand out is Julia’s background in modeling, art, hospitality, and entertainment as an employee and an employer. She possesses an acute understanding of both ends of the hiring process and is using this knowledge to navigate the waters and bridge the gap. 

As a mother of three talented young men, Julia understands the importance of fostering a healthy community and desires to grow the Talenver family with the same care. 

While owning and running a medical spa, Julia faced and overcame obstacles in Talenvar’s creation. With a desire to bring her unique vision to life, she single-handedly secured funding and organized a team of engineers to build the platform. She persisted with her goals and is now introducing Talenver as a new, revolutionary experience.

Future outlook

Julia aims to grow Talenver into a household name. As the personal elements of the hiring process decline with the rise of AI, Talenver aims to establish a reliable alternative. 

Julia Lurie plans to host Talenver networking events that encourage the community to intermingle and make lasting first impressions that will serve them well.
