UK-based AfroRnB artist, Taofeek Sanusi aka Taz Hypno has said it will be a dream come true for him to collaborate with top Nigerian music artists like Davido,Wizkid, Burnaboy and Tiwa Savage.
In a chat with The Nation, Taz Hypno,who is also a professional choreographer, noted that he listens to some of Nigeria’s A-list stars and a collaboration with them will be ‘absolutely fantastic’ and a testament to how far he has gone in his craft.
“Honestly, I think collaborations are magical and to be able to collaborate with such top Nigerian artists will be a massive dream come true and will show testament to Davido, Burnaboy, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid, these are artist whom I have listened to and will continue to listen to so to one day making music with them on a collaboration with be absolutely fantastic,” he said.
The artist, who described music as a tool for self-expression, stated that music is very spiritual, and therapeutic, adding that it can be a catalyst for our emotions and bring people together towards a common goal either positive or negative.
The ‘Kini kashe’ and ‘Hold me down’ singer noted that inspiration to follow his dreams and achieve his goals drives him.
“ I am usually focused on the task. I believe success for me means success for the people closest to me also and being in a position to be able to cater for my loved ones or perform charitable deeds. I am also a performer at heart from my days of being a choreographer and a dancer with the dance company I founded called Hypnotick. So, you could say these are the things that make me tick,” he added.
