GREEN BAY – Like a killer punk song, ticket sales for the premiere of “Green Blah! The History of Green Bay Punk Rock …The First Ten Years or So” have been fast and ferocious.
Two showings of the documentary more than a decade in the making were originally announced late last week for 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and 5 p.m. Nov. 2 at The Tarlton Theatre in downtown Green Bay. When they both quickly sold out, a matinee was added for 1 p.m. Nov. 2. When it sold out, a fourth was added.
As of Tuesday afternoon, tickets were still available for a matinee at noon Nov. 3 (before the 3:35 p.m. Packers-Lions game). Cost is $15 per person at thetarlton.com. Dinner packages are also available.
The weekend roll-out of “Green Blah!” also includes two punk rock reunion concerts at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 2. Each features a different lineup of bands from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s and requires a separate $15 ticket.
Nov. 1: No Response, Boris the Sprinkler (original lineup), Malignance, Depo-Provera, AxBxMx (A Buncha Morons) and Milton & The Pop-Tartz.

Nov. 2: Moral Disgust/Rebel Waltz, SxUxMx (Suburban Mutilation), Withdraw, The Leg Hounds, The Minors and Just Punks.
Tickets remain for both concerts. Band lineups are subject to change, including “special guests.”
Filmmakers Chris Pretti and James Baker started work in 2012 on the in-depth look at how the punk rock and independent music scene in Green Bay and the surrounding area grew from scrappy beginnings, conducting countless interviews with pioneering local bands and gathering photos and flyers from shows at venues like Northside Bowling Lanes, Kutska’s Hall and Port Plaza Mall.
