‘Ultimate summer party’ at Andover Manor

Music at the Manor is returning to Andover Manor on Winchester Road, promising a festival-style celebration on Saturday, July 12.

The festival will feature six tribute acts, playing a range of music from anthems to dancefloor classics.

This includes a tribute to Elton John, called Totally Elton, who will be headlining the event.

He is expected to bring his usual sparkle and spectacle, with a performance packed with sing-along classics.

Fans of boybands will be pleased to see a Take That tribute on the bill, called A Night of Take That, with a performance filled with crowd anthems.

Other acts include Torn Off Strips, a local band known for their covers, Stonepig, a grungy band known for their raw sound, and Jake Ward, an acoustic artist, and Lizzie Cullen, a talented singer-songwriter.

The event will also have food provided by SJ Catering, as well as beer, cider, wine, bottled lagers, and spirits. Surf Shack Shakes will be offering a variety of milkshakes and other treats.

Set in the grounds of Andover Manor, the event aims to provide an “adult party vibe” with space to relax, dance, and enjoy the summer weather.

Music at the Manor is supporting The Abel Foundation, a local charity that supports families affected by mitochondrial disease.

Since there is currently no cure, the foundation provides financial assistance for essential equipment, respite care, and a 24-hour support network.

Claire Noakes, chairman of the Abel Foundation, said: “We’re incredibly excited to host this event again and hope to establish it as an annual tradition.

“Our greatest success will be seeing everyone enjoy themselves and create lasting memories. Let’s make this a fantastic day of music and community.

“Every ticket sold helps us provide the care and support our families desperately need.”

Every ticket sold will help support the charity.

The festival is run by volunteers, with many of the acts performing for free in order to maximise fundraising.

As well as the music, festival-goers will be able to enjoy catering from local vendors, a bar, and glitter face painting.

Tickets are priced at £30 and are available at theabelfoundation.org.uk.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “Get ready, Test Valley! The ultimate summer party is almost here! Music at the Manor returns on Saturday, July 12, promising an unforgettable festival-style celebration at Andover Manor on Winchester Road, from 2pm to 10pm.

“This year’s event features six incredible live tribute acts, each guaranteed to get the crowd on their feet.
