A Volgograd district court has fined Alexandra Mayer, a local resident treating her post in a social network as degrading to the dignity of those mobilized.
The reason was in her post in the “VKontakte” social network, the human rights project “OVD-Info”* has informed. According to the court ruling, in her post the defendant criticized the leadership of the Russian Army and compared those mobilized for the special military operation (SMO) with animals that are sent to slaughter.
The judge has treated the fact that the defendant was accused of an offense for the first time as a mitigating circumstance and imposed a minimum fine on her – 10,000 roubles.
