Week of Oct. 21: Halloween Art Market, Ghost Manor and more

Prime art market season is here! Val’s NOLA on Freret Street will hold its last night market of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 5 to 9 p.m. The Halloween Art Market will have costume items, spooky season-inspired food, art, snacks and more.

Next, catch Bayou Garden Art Market’s (located at Bayou Wine Garden and Bayou Beer Garden in Mid-City) “Spooky & Swifty” fall event on Thursday, Oct. 24, 5 to 9 p.m. with a live DJ, costumes, plant sales, vintage items, accessories and more. Plus, there will be plenty of adult beverages, libations and food!

If you’re looking for a festive fright, Ghost Manor on Magazine Street is back with its spooky entertaining lights and sound show featuring flying ghosts, dancing skeletons and more. Be sure to catch the always-free, always-dazzling haunting extravaganza this weekend (Oct. 24-27) and next week (Oct. 30-21) from 7 to 10 p.m.

Take the fright out of hosting a Halloween get-together with these fun and festive charcuterie and treat platters from Gris-Gris to Go Go. Choose from a meat, cheese and fruit platter, a trick-or-treat candy platter or both. Just grab, go and party.

The Black Lagoon cocktail pop-up at Anna’s features creepy, fun twists on concoctions like “Frank’s Fiz,” “Hex Appeal, “Nighttime Fuel” and more. Head over now through Nov. 3 to sample the whole menu for a frightful good time.
