Women of Christian Rap Spotlight Part 13

In today’s women of Christian rap spotlight, we have four upcoming women artists who were selected for the 2025 Elevation Conference. Keep your eyes on them moving forward!

Ally Minju

Ally is a K-pop artist and producer from Los Angeles. Her music shares her story of leaving MIT after discovering Jesus and reaching a crossroads in her personal life. After MIT, she went back to LA and created Confirmation Ministries. Her music tackles themes of greed, depression, embracing identity in Jesus, being a Korean American, and more.

Lexly Nirvana

Born in Mexico, the Texas native creates hip-hop and reggaeton music rooted in her Christian faith. Lexly began her music journey with Warriors of the Cross, a prison ministry. The ministry inspired her to create her own music, leading to collaborations with Christian rap’s top artists and winning the “Best Female Artist Award from the Invasion Music Awards.

Rez Lyrix

From Massachusetts, Rez is a newer artist, first releasing music in 2023. Rising out of Springfield, Massachusetts, has been rapping since she was 12. She committed her life to Christ at age 19 and since then, has created lyrics and music to move souls and the culture. Rez wants listeners to remember that Christianity isn’t a cage—it’s the freedom to live fully and joyfully through the Holy Spirit.

Joz

Joz is on a mission to spread the message of God’s love and the gospel of Jesus in hip-hop. With her music, she shares her past experiences of growing up without Jesus and her personal faith journey culminating in a revival of her soul through Jesus. She grew up in Broward County, Florida.
