Kenzo has partnered for the first time with Japanese artist Verdy, and has announced the release of a men’s, women’s and unisex capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2024.

The Kenzo pop-up store open from December 2 to 17 at 66 avenue des Champs Élysées in Paris – Kenzo

The Kenzo x Verdy collaboration was presented during the latest Paris menswear week, and at a fashion show staged in Shanghai in July. Dropped exclusively on the Kenzo e-shop from December 1 to 3, it is now available at all Kenzo stores.

To celebrate this collection, in which East meets West, Kenzo’s creative director Nigo planned the opening of two pop-up stores: one at 66 avenue des Champs Elysées in Paris, from December 2 to 17, and another at 10 Corso Como in Seoul, from December 16 to 26.

Verdy, a close friend of Nigo, has designed amusing graphic motifs especially for this streetwear-inspired capsule collection, blending together elements of hip-hop, manga and skateboarding culture. The items are priced between €120 and €1,800.

The men’s items include a cropped black windbreaker with a white logo, a navy sweater and gilet, and a black and white jersey cardigan embroidered with ‘KP’ (for Kenzo Paris) on the chest, and ‘Kenzo Paris’ on the back. Also, a black sweatshirt with the ‘Kenzo Paris’ logo, and a selection of oversize t-shirts in black and white.

The women’s items consist of a navy sweater, a cardigan, a dress inscribed with the words ‘Kenzo Paris 18 rue Vivienne’, a pink polo dress, various sweatshirts and hoodies, and an off-white cardigan with red logo.

For the unisex looks, the collection features various hoodies, joggers, oversize t-shirts, a navy cardigan, a leather biker jacket, and a letterman jacket with the inscriptions  ‘18 rue Vivienne’, ‘KP’ and ‘Kenzo Paris’ on the chest.
